El Puente
This Privacy Policy describes how "El Puente" (hereinafter, "the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect
El Puente is designed to minimize the collection of personal data. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any data that directly identifies you.
When you use the App, we collect the following data:
1.1. Data Created Automatically When Opening the App
- Anonymous user identifier: an ID automatically generated by Supabase Auth in UUID format. It is not linked to your real identity.
- Country: ISO country code (e.g., ES, FR) detected from your device's regional settings. We use it exclusively to display the global network of nodes.
1.2. Subscription-Related Data
- Subscription status (active or inactive).
- Subscription tier (STANDARD, PREMIUM, DIAMOND).
- Account creation date.
- Purchase history: managed by Apple (App Store) and RevenueCat. We do not store credit card numbers or banking details — that information is handled by Apple.
1.3. User-Generated Content
- Wall messages: if you choose to post a message on the network wall, that message is stored in our database along with your node identifier (not your identity). Messages are public and permanent within the App.
1.4. Data We DO NOT Collect
- We do not use tracking cookies or IDFA (Apple's advertising identifier).
- We do not access your GPS location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
- We do not perform advertising profiling.
2. Purpose of Processing
We use the collected data exclusively to:
- Allow you to access the App's functionalities.
- Manage your subscription and verify your payment status.
- Display the global node network by countries and maintain wall messages.
- Calculate aggregated statistics (number of active nodes, funds raised, etc.).
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
3. Legal Basis
The legal basis for processing your data is the performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) for providing the subscription service, and your consent when using the App and posting content on the wall (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
4. Providers and Third Parties
We use trusted providers to operate the App. Please review their respective privacy policies:
- Supabase (Database & Authentication)
- RevenueCat (Subscription Management)
- Apple App Store (Payment Processing)
- Expo / EAS (Application Delivery)
5. Data Retention
Your account and subscription data are kept as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from the NODE screen, all your personal data and associated wall messages are immediately and irreversibly deleted from our database.
Financial transaction data may be retained for the legal period required by applicable tax legislation (e.g., up to 6 years in Spain).
6. Your Rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase ("right to be forgotten"), object to, restrict the processing of, and request the portability of your data.

7. Minors
El Puente is not directed to children under 14 years of age. If we detect that a minor has provided data without authorization, we will proceed to delete it immediately.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, Role-Level Security (RLS) in Supabase) to protect your information. However, no digital system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy. Substantial changes will be notified through the App. The date of the last update is indicated at the beginning of the document.
